Our December holiday concert The Sounding Joy was joyous and popular with singers and audience alike. An amalgamation of both traditional and less well-known seasonal music, it included festive holiday works for brass — including the fan-favorite Rutter Gloria — plus a premiere of a new work by Russell Reed, the final section of the trilogy TCC has been premiering in pieces since 2011. Other pieces included Paulus We Sing Thy Birth, O’Regan Threshold of Light, Sweelinck Hodie, and Dawson Mary Had a Baby and Behold the Star.
