Haydn's The Creation and Dan Welcher's Without Form and Void

 

Haydn's The Creation is unquestionably a favorite and a masterpiece, but something special was added to our recent August program. TCC commissioned a brand new work by Central Texas-based composer Dan Welcher. What's especially exciting is that this new work was composed specifically to be performed in conjunction with The Creation, and expands on the themes and ideas in the oratorio. TCC was thrilled to present its world premiere.
