Panoramic Voices joined forces with symphonic rockers the Invincible Czars for a holiday rock show in our 7th annual Holiday Mixtape. In this re-envisioned 2020 virtual performance, Panoramic Voices shared highlights from past holiday concerts and streamed new content created by Panoramic Voices and The Invincible Czars. Brent Baldwin, Panoramic Voices Artistic Director, and Josh Robins of The Invincible Czars provided commentary and were joined by past guest artists Taylor Muse from Quiet Company and Liz Cass from LOLA. The show was free to view live on YouTube, with a portion of the donations received for the event benefiting past collaborator Austin Soundwaves.

Love, sorcery, and tragic opera…what better way to spend a Saturday evening? LOLA (Local Opera Local Artists) and Panoramic Voices presented an encore presentation of our February 2020 performance of Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas.. In addition to streaming the show, Liz Cass (Executive Producer of LOLA) led a panel discussion by the creative team behind the show: musical director Brent Baldwin (Artistic Director of Panoramic Voices), stage director Rebecca Herman (Artistic Producer of LOLA) , and choreographer Erica Gionfriddo (co-founder of ARCOS Dance). A portion of donations received for the event benefited SIMS Foundation.

Panoramic Voices’ singers and orchestra presented George Walker’s Lyric for Strings, Arvo Pärt’s enigmatic Berliner Messe, the world premiere of Brought into Morning by Australian composer Kitty Xiao, and Gabriel Fauré’s timeless Requiem .

Concert benefited Kids in a New Groove

 The 4th collaboration between Panoramic Voices’ singers and orchestra in which rock, pop, country, rap, and other musicians from the community and beyond are showcased. Year after year, this collaboration proves that musicians across genres shine when they bring their styles and talents together. Presented by KUTX, this concert featured:

Again this year, ION was a benefit for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, with a portion of ticket sales supporting HAAM's work providing access to affordable health care for Austins low-income, working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness. 

Panoramic Voices hosted the third Indie Orchestra Night, a collaborative concert experience joining a 100-voice choir, orchestra, and several Austin bands in an unforgettable evening of music and food for an only in Austin experience, presented by KUTX.

This year, ION benefited the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. Guest artists for ION 2018 included Big Bill, Calliope Musicals, Dustin Welch (and friends), Moving Panoramas, Nakia, and Star Parks.
